He was born in Isabella, Pa. Resident of Somerset for the past five years. He was a retired mine equipment mechanic, and a member of United Mine Workers of America. He was a mason and member of Fayette Lodge 228 F.A.M. He is survived by his wife, and two children: Mrs. James Judith Christie and Terry Davis, both of Long Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren; a brother, William Davis, Wall Lake, Michigan; and a sister, Mrs. Theodore Pearl Bailey, Detroit, Mich. Friends will be received at the Victor A. DeCorlo Funeral Home, 136 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and until 1 p.m. Thursday, the hour of service. Dr. Earl P. Confer will officiate. Burial will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown. Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. this evening. Daily American, December 1, 1976 [D0165]
