NORA DAVIS

  Miss Nora Davis died at her home in Confluence March 25, at 12 o'clock.  She 
was the daughter of John Davis and Margaret (Brallier) Davis.  Preceding her in 
death were the following brothers and sisters: Joseph B. Davis, Augustine C. 
Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Mrs. Almira Bush, and Mrs. Ellen Pangborn.  One sister 
survives, Miss Jennie Davis, of Somerset.
  Miss Davis was born in Gebhartsburg, Somerset County, May 10, 1858, and spent 
most of her life in Confluence and vicinity.  She was a highly respected member 
of Trinity Lutheran Church of Confluence for many years.
  The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her late home, 
conducted by her pastor, Rev. James V. Guss.  Burial was made by the Humbert 
Funeral Service.  Interment in the Ursina Cemetery.
