Born June 12, 1915, in Listie. Son of the late Donovan Isaac and Mary Ellen (Aultz) Davis. Also preceded by a grandson, John A. Davis; four brothers-Jay, James, Willard and Clifford Davis. Survived by his wife, the former Betty Mae Glessner, to whom he was married for 55 years, and these children: Ray L. Davis, married to the former Frances Kolycheck, Houston, Pa.; Mrs. William I. (Patricia E.) Engleka, Somerset; Mrs. Dan C. (Sharyn J.) Miller, Chatham, Pa. Also six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Brother of Miss Anna Mae Davis, George E. Davis, Mrs. Olive Joanne Croyle and Mrs. Hazel Hansen, all of Somerset, and Clyde Davis, Stoystown. A mechanic for 21 years for the former Somerset Bus Co. Retired in 1979 with 17 years service from Frank E. Cober and Sons. A veteran of U.S. Army in World War II. Member of the First United Methodist Church. A 56-year member of the Somerset Volunteer Fire Department. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Fire department service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family suggests contributions to the Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 S.
