  ROBERT F. DAVIS
  
  Robert F. Davis, 65, W. Sanner St., Somerset, died Oct. 29, 1978, at
  Alleghney(sic) General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  A son of the late Samuel B.
  and Virginia Anderson Davis, he was born Feb. 26, 1913, in Shinnston, W.
  Va.  Survived by his wife, the former Helen Evans; one son, Peter Evans
  Davis, Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; and one brother, Samuel Benton
  Davis Jr., Chicago, Ill.  He was senior vice president of Woodings Verona
  Tool Works, Pittsburgh; and was a member of the Manchester No. 73F and AM,
  Manchester, Conn.; Pittsburgh Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, Altoona, Somerset
  County Shrine Club and the Somerset Country Club.  He was a charter member
  of the Hardware Marketing Council.  Friends will be received at the late
  residence.  Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. 
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, friends may make a
  contribution to the coronary care unit at the Somerset Community Hospital.
