  ROSE A. DAVIS
  
    Rose A. Davis, 66, died Aug. 4, 1994, at Manor Care South, York.  Born
  May 16, 1928, in Somerset.  Daughter of the late Robert C. Sr. and Clara B.
  (Baker) Davis.  Survived by her brother, Robert C. Davis Jr. of Somerset;
  and sister, Jane D. Moore of Wilmington, Del.; also two nieces and three
  nephews.  Retired from GTE, where she was a service supervisor for 35
  years.  WAC Korean Conflict.  Member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church,
  York, CONTACT-York and AARP Golf Group.  She was an avid golfer in various
  golf leagues in York area.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday
  at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, with military
  rites conducted by York County Veterans Honor Guard outside of church
  following service.  Rev. Stephany S. Sechrist officiating.  No viewing. 
  Visitation one hour prior to service in church parlor.  Graveside service
  will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Arrangements by Wm. J. Workinger Funeral Home Inc., 849 East Market St.,
  York.  Memorial contributions may be given to Aldersgate United Methodist
  Church Building Fund, 397 Tyler Run Rd., York, Pa. 17403.
