She was born Jan. 14, 1930 in Confluence, a daughter of the late Earl E. and Sallie I. (McClintock) Ringer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Davis and a son, Richard A. Dugan. Survived by son, James E. Dugan of Easley S.C., daughter Julie Manning of Simpsonville, S.C., stepson, Terry Davis of Salamanca, N.Y., and stepdaughter Karen Davis of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; also six grandchildren. She was a graduate of Duquesne University, receiving a nursing practitioners degree. She served as a professor of nursing at the University of Miami and Miami Dade College and Point Park College in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Davis was a former night supervisor at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. until noon Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Graveside service and interment will follow at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Cemetery with the Rev. Duane Riddle officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Broadcasting Network P.O.
