  SADIE M. DAVIS
  
  Sadie M. Davis, 87, Zelienople, died Oct. 27, 2001 at Passavant Retirement
  & Health Center, Zelienople.  Born Feb. 5, 1914 in Mercer, the daughter of
  the late Frederick F. and the late Nellie M. Davis Foltz.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Rev. Richard Alan Davis, whom she married June 15,
  1937, and who died March 26, 1974, four brothers and two sisters.  Survived
  by sons, Thomas A. Davis and Paul F. Davis, both of Lancaster Township;
  daughter, Mrs. Richard (E. Suzanne) Remale, of New Castle; six
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Member of Calvin Presbyterian
  Church in Zelienople where she was also a member of the Calvin Morning
  circle.  A 1935 graduate of Westminster College with a bachelors degree in
  music education.  Retired music education teacher, having taught music in
  the Zelienople, Bryn Mawr and Upper St. Clair school districts.  Member of
  the Pa. State Education Assoc. - retired, the National Education Assn. -
  retired, and the Pa. State Music Educators Assn. - retired.  Visitation
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview
  Ave., Zelienople.  Funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvin Presbyterian
  Church, Zelienople, with the Rev. Dr. N. Graham Standish, Rev. Richard
  Anderson and Rev. Peggy Suhr Barkley, officiating.  Burial will follow in
  the Pidgon Creek Cemetery, Washington County.  Memorial donations may be
  made to the Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople,
  Pa., 16063.
