  VIOLA B. DAVIS
  
    Viola B. Davis, 55, of Monteagle, Tenn., former resident of the
  Grantsville, Maryland area, died February 23, 1983, in Earlinger Hospital,
  Chattanooga, Tenn.
   Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Owen Crowe and
  Nellie (Poleman) Crowe.  Her husband Elmer Davis, preceded her in death.
    She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Owena Miller, RD 2 Grantsville.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were
  conducted with the Pastor K. Almond officiating.  Interment will be in New
  Germany United Methodist Church.
