Born Oct. 10, 1920 in Upper Turkeyfoot. Daughter of the late Silas Nicholson Saylor and Viola (Mickey) Nicholson Saylor. Mrs. Davis was a high school graduate and attended Catherman's Business School. Worked as a nurse's aide at Memorial Hospital. Member of the First Wesleyan Church, Cresaptown. Belonged to the Berean Sunday School Class and a member of the 700 Club. Survivors include her husband, Billy E. Davis; two sons, Michael O. Imel, Cumberland and Lawrence R. Imel, Baltimore; three brothers, Charles Nicholson and Roy Nicholson, both of LaVale, and Robert Saylor, Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation at the George Upchurch Funeral Home on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Paul, officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
