Born July 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Naomi (Robinette) Perdew. Survived by four sons, Dennis Devon Dawson and wife Tracey of Cumberland, Md., Ronald Lee Dawson and fiancee Tammy Detrick of Berlin, Wayne Earl Dawson and wife Lisa of Burlington, N.C., and Kenneth Alan Dawson and wife Tammy of Buffalo Mills. Louise also enjoyed her grandchildren which include Kristi Lynne (Dawson) Gore, Joshua Lee Dawson, Amber Faylen Dawson, Dustin Devon Dawson, Leah Samantha Dawson, Kenneth "Adam" Dawson, Olivia Kayne Dawson, Kaytlyn Ranae Dawson, and Nathalie Alexander Dawson along with great-grandchildren Vanessa, Steven, Andrew, Julian and Jared. Also survived by three sisters, Jessie Madden of Wadsworth, Ohio, Mary Margaret Martin of Oakridge, Tenn., and Joan Ahern of Lewisburg, W.Va. Employed by the Cumberland Times News. She graduated from Fort Hill High School Class of 1948. She was a 50-year member of the Melvin United Methodist Church and a longtime active member of the PTA and volunteered at numerous school functions. Friends were received Sunday at the Chapel of the Hills, LaVale, Md. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Melvin United Methodist Church. The Rev. Daniel Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Madley Cemetery, Rt. 96, Buffalo Mills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Melvin United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, Marion and Reynolds Streets, Cumberland, Md. 21502 in memory of Louise.
