Born Sept. 17, 1919, in Somerset, daughter of Lottie (Shaver) Shumaker and Homer A. Shumaker. Preceded in death by parents and first husband, Lt. Wally Bishop of Somerset. Survived by husband, Roderick E. Dawson of Levittown; daughter, Stephanie Dooley of Passaduinkeag, Maine; son, Julian A. Dawson of Levittown; and three grandchildren. Sister of Julia, wife of Dr. Charles C. Bull of Nescopeck, and Mary Grace, of Rockwood. Graduate of Somerset High School, class of 1937. Former member of First Christian Church of Somerset. Funeral services held Tuesday in Levittown. Graveside service by the Rev. Gene C. Sellers, Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. in Husband Cemetery, Somerset. Daily American, January 30, 1985 [D0201]
