    John R. Day, 87, Fairhope RD 1, died Aug. 17, 1985, at Meyersdale
  Community  Hospital. Born April 28, 1898, in Fairhope Twp., son of Benjamin
  and Mary  (Deneen) Day. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former
  Hannah Hutzell; two daughters, five sons, three grandchildren, two brothers
  and three sisters.   Survived by these children: William, Meyersdale; Glenn,
  Jacob, Mrs. Richard  (Mary) Baer, all of Fairhope RD 1; John Jr.,
  Pittsburgh; Mrs. James (Martha) Valarinos, New York City; Mrs. John (Helen)
  Natcher, Roland, Kenneth, Mrs.  Robert (Janet) Twigg, Mrs. Shirley Smith,
  all of Ravenna, Ohio; 56  grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, 10
  great-great-grandchildren. Retired coal miner. Friends will be received 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. today at Johnson-Kuhlman  Funeral Home, where services will be
  held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev.  Randall Larry officiating. Interment,
  Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
