Bedford County deputy coroner Ralph Mickle and Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Hershey investigated. A native of Meyersdale, Mr. Day was a son of Charles and Sadie (Lowery) Day, with whom he resided. He was an employee of Coleman Manufacturers, Somerset. Besides his parents, he is survived by eight brothers, Charles and Henry Day, Ravenna, Ohio; Jesse Day, Hyndman; Clyde Day, Meyersdale; Roland Day, Rootstown, Ohio; Robert Day, Kent, Ohio, Freddy and Lester Day at home; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Logsdon, Kent; Mrs. Priscilla Keller, Baltimore; Mrs. Sarah Herline, Manns Choice, and Miss Aveline Day, at home. The body was at the Zeigler Funeral Home, where a service was conducted Sept. 3 at 2:30 p.m., Rev. James F. Hodges officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, RD 1, Fairhope.
