  SARAH M. DAY
  
    Sarah M. "Sadie" Day, 66, of Buffalo Mills RD 1, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 1990 
  at the Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.
    She was born May 18, 1924 in Juniata Township, Bedford County, daughter of the 
  late John C. and Bessie V. (Barkley) Lowery.
    Her husband, Charles E. Day, died Nov. 25, 1976. Two sons and a brother and 
  sister also preceded her in death.
    Surviving are eight sons: Charles E. Day and Robert E. Day, both of Ravenna, 
  Ohio; Henry A. Day and Lester S. Day, both of Kent, Ohio; Jesse J. Day, Buffalo 
  Mills RD 1; Clyde W. Day, Garrett; Roland M. Day, Edinburg, Ohio; Fred D. Day, 
  at home; four daughters, Betty H. Logsdon, Brady Lake, Ohio; Priscilla C. 
  Keller, Baltimore, Md.; Sarah L. Herline, RD1, Manns Choice; Abby M. Emerick, 
  New Bern, N.C.; one sister, Vivian Miller, Schellsburg RD 1; 23 grandchildren, 
  and seven great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where 
  services were conducted Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Homer Duppstadt.
    Interment, Mount Zion Cemetery, Fairhope RD 1
