     Betty L. (Murdock) Deal, 86, Windber, formerly of Boswell, died Oct. 23, 2007, at the
  Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born April 26, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter 
  of  William O. Murdock and Sarah D. (Bheam) Murdock-Riffle. Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Glenn A. Deal Sr. on Aug. 28, 1976; and children, Reda McDaniel,
  Aldeine Deal and Glenn A. Deal Jr. Survived by daughters, Glenda A., married to Charles
  Boyer, Windber; and Marlene R., married to John Okarmus, Crestwood, Ky.; 10
  grandchildren; 18 great-grand children, and five great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law,
  Allan McDaniel, Murrells Inlet, S.C.; and daughter-in-law, Connie J. Peck, McDonald,
  Ohio. Member of Boswell Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Boswell Post 461,
  American Legion. She enjoyed traveling, doing craftwork, quilting and puzzles and
  spending time with her grandchildren. There will be no visitation or services. Following
  cremation, interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Betty may be
  sent to The Paget Foundation, 120 Wall St., Suite 1602, New York, NY 10005-4001.
