  DEAL

  Betty M. Deal, 72, of Salisbury RD 1, died March 26, 1994, at Meyersdale
  Community hospital.  Born Oct. 24, 1921, in Elk Lick Township, she was a
  daughter of the late Jerry F. and Dorothy (Glotfelty) Beachy.  Survivors
  include her husband, LeRoy Deal; 4 sons: Jerry, Salisbury; Bernard,
  Cumberland, Md.; Paul W., Meyersdale, and George, Salisbury; 2 daughters:
  Ellen Opel, Salisbury, and Dorothy Jones, Parsons, W. Va.; 1 brother, Jerry
  R. Beachy, West Salisbury; 1 sister, Beatrice Hardy, Cumberland; also 13
  grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.   Member of St. John's United Church of
  Christ, where she was a member of consistory, choir, and TTT Class.  Also
  member of Fifth Society of Farm Women, Meyersdale Hospital Auxiliary.   She
  was a homemaker.  Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury.  Services will be conducted
  at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's United Church of Christ, with the Rev.
  Raymond Brown officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.  Expressions of
  sympathy may be directed to St. John's Church Memorial Fund.
