  C. DELMAS DEAL

  A Meyersdale area school board member died suddenly Saturday, April 5.   
  C. Delmas Deal, 36, a member of the school board since January 1978, had
  collapsed while playing basketball at the Meyersdale Community Center, and
  was dead on arrival at the Meyersdale Community Hospital.
  He was vice president of the Meyersdale Rotary Club and was a member of
  the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren where he served as a deacon.   He had
  been a salesman for Gnagey Olds Inc. located in Meyersdale.
  He was born July 26, 1943 in Frostburg, Md., the son of the late Clarence
  Deal and Myrtle (Meese) Deal of Salisbury.
  He is also survived by widow, the former Linda Schrock, and daughter,
  Diane, at home; three brothers, Darrell of Meyersdale RD 3; Paul of
  Salisbury; and Terry of Meyersdale RD 1.
  Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
  Services were held with the Rev. Bobby Phillips.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
