  Glenn A. (Butch) Deal Jr., 38, 430 Main St., Boswell, died unexpectedly
  Oct. 23, 1985, at Latrobe Area Hospital.  Born Dec. 12, 1946, in Somerset,
  son of Glenn A. Sr. and Betty L. (Murdock) Deal.  Preceded in death by
  father, died Aug. 28, 1976; sisters, Aldeine, died May 18, 1959; and Reda
  McDaniel, died Aug. 22, 1977.  Survived by widow, former Connie J. McDaniel,
  and two children, Rodney and Shelly, at home; maternal grandmother, Sarah D.
  Riffle, Tanneryville.  Brother of Glenda, wife of Charles Boyer, Windber; and
  Marlene, wife of John Okarmus, Modesto, Calif.  Member of Boswell Vol. Fire
  Dept. and Jenner Local 1742, UMWA.  Owned and operated Deal's Tree Service
  and Excavating.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, the
  Rev. Jesse E. Wolf.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
