  GLENN A. DEAL SR.
  
  Glenn A. Deal Sr., 56, 430 Main St., Boswell, died unexpectantly Aug. 28,
  1976 in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born July 2, 1920, in Somerset
  County, son of Harvey and Hattie (Dewire) Deal. Preceded in death by
  parents, and a daughter Aldeine R., who died May 18, 1959.  Survived by
  widow, the former Betty L. Murdock, and these children: Reda J., wife of
  Allan L. McDaniel, Fairfield, Conn.; Glenda A., wife of Charles E. Boyer,
  Windber; Marlene R., wife of John Okarmus, Modesta [sic] *, Calif.; and
  Glenn A. (Butch) Jr., married to the former Connie J. McDaniel, Boswell;
  and 10 grandchildren.  Brother of Roy, Confluence; Homer and Ralph, both of
  Hollsopple.  Member of New Baltimore Sportsmen Club, Dale Firemen's Club,
  and Boswell Volunteer Firemen's Dept. Veteran of World War II.  Owned and
  operated Deal Demolition and Excavating, Boswell.  Friends received from 7-9
  p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes and the Rev. George A. Clark officiating.
  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Family requests in lieu of flowers
  contributions be made to the heart fund.
