MARY ANNA DEAL

  Mrs. Mary Anna Thomas Deal died at the home of her son, Elmer Deal in Somerset 
at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26th, of a complication of diseases.  She 
had been ill for several years and bedfast for the past six weeks.  Her husband, 
Charles Deal, preceded her in death a number of years ago.
  She was born in Markleysburg, Pa. on July 19, 1880, daughter of M. Ross and 
Diana (Hinebaugh) Thomas.  In addition to her son, Elmer, she is survived by one 
daughter, Mrs. Laura Kelley of Uniontown, Pa., and by four brothers; Joseph and 
Wayne of Markleysburg, and Harris and James of Uniontown.  She was a member of 
the Church of the Brethren at Markleysburg.
  Funeral services will be conducted in the church on Friday, Sept. 28, at 1:30 
p.m., with Rev. Ludwick, pastor, officiating.  Interment in the Thomas Cemetery, 
Markleysburg, in charge of Stanley M. Thomas, Salisbury mortician.
