  RAYMOND E. DEAL
  
    Raymond E. Deal, 73, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 1988, at
  his home.
    Born April 8, 1918, in Greenville Township, Somerset County, he was the
  son of the late William and Mary (Baer) Deal.  Besides his parents, he was
  also preceded in death by one brother, Robert, and two sisters, Betty and
  Dorothy.
    He was retired as a machinist with the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory
  with 32 years of service.  He was a member of the Greenville Lutheran
  Church.
    Surviving are his widow, Kathleen (Paul) Deal; one daughter, Mrs. Kathy
  Ware, Meyersdale; one son, Randy Deal, Meyersdale; seven brothers, Ralph
  Deal, West Salisbury; Walter Deal, Frederick, Md.; Carl Deal, Melvin Deal,
  Donald Deal, Paul Deal and John Deal, all five of the Meyersdale area; five
  sisters, Mrs. Ethel Clark and Mrs. Kathleen Yutzy, both of Meyersdale; Mrs.
  Edna Brown and Mrs. Marybelle Brown, both of the Frostburg, Md., area; and
  Mrs. Pauline Glotfelty, Akron, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury.
    Services were conducted in the Greenville Lutheran Church at 2 p.m.
  Sunday by the Rev. David E. Fetter.  Interment, Greenville Cemetery.
