  Carolyn Yvonne (Shifflett) Dean, 45, of Elkton, Va., formerly of Somerset,
  died Nov. 4 as a result of an automobile accident in Charlottesville, Va. 
  Born March 1, 1958, the daughter of Henry C. Shifflett of Friedens and Lena
  P. Shifflett of Elkton, Va.  Survived by husband James Dean, daughter
  Melissa Ann Bennet, Shenandoah, Va., son, James Ray Dean at home, and two
  grandchildren, Tyler and Joey Bennet.  Sister of Calvin and fiancee Deb
  Kinney, Friedens; George F., married to Marie, Kimmelton; Marilyn, Elkton,
  Va.; also nephews and nieces, Shawn, Joe, John, Jason, Crystal and Shana
  Shifflett.  Funeral arrangements in charge of Kyger Funeral Home, Route 33,
  West Elkton, Va.
