  GEORGE W. DEAN
  
  George W. Dean, 81, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Sept. 29, 1984, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born June 3, 1903, in Boynton, son of the late Sherman
  and Annie (Stanton) Dean.  He was a veteran of World War II and a member of
  the Salisbury American Legion and D.A.V. No. 8, Pittsburgh.  Friends are
  being received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral
  services will be held today at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
