  LULA F. DEAN
  
    Lula F. Dean, 79, of Akron, Ohio, died Nov. 16, 1979 at Akron General
  Hospital.
    She was born Sept. 14, 1900 in Somerset County, and was a daughter of the
  late Abraham and Sarah (Newman) Shoemaker.
    She is survived by two daughters Sarah Jane Anderson of Akron, whom she
  made her home with, and Narine Jenkins of Phoenix, Arizona.  Two
  grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and three sisters, Edna C. Bowman of
  Meyersdale, Margaret Wilhelm, of Akron, and Mildred P. Hecker of North
  Versailles, Pa., and a brother, Paul K. Shoemaker of North Versailles.
    She was a member of Grace Cathedral Church.
    Services were held at Carr Memorial Home, Fairlawn Chapel.  Clergyman
  officiating was the Rev. William D. Davis.  Interment Greenlawn Memorial
  Park.
