Born May 31, 1919, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of Alton and Mabel (Hentz) Coleman. Preceded in death by parents, and grandson, Daniel Lynn Deaner. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard B., and these sons: Wayne, married to the former Donna McCurdy, Saxonburg; Ronald, married to the former Donna Stern, Somerset; Larry, married to the former Kay Will, and Lynn, married to the former Marjorie Vaughn, both of Berlin; grandchildren: Brenda Negley, Carrie Vernon, Bryan, Dawn, Adam and Douglas Deaner; great-grandchildren: Levi and Olivia Grace Negley; brothers: Devon Coleman, Somerset; and John Coleman, Berlin. Foster mother to 14 boys, including Joseph Brothers, Somerset. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, where she served as president of the Women's Fellowship and headed the refreshment committee for Bible school. She was a lecturer of the Valley Grange, member of the Second Society of Farm Women, Berlin; Historical Society, Berlin; Community Fair Committee and Mountaineer Homemakers. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm and the Rev. Ralph G.
