  FRANCES R. DEANER
  
  Mrs. Frances R. Deaner, 69, Stoystown, died July 19, 1977, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  She was born September 19, 1907, in Shanksville,
  daughter of Charles H. and Carrie B. (Zeigler) Ross.  She was preceded in
  death by her parents and grandaughter.  She is survived by her husband John
  H., whom she married December 7, 1928; a son, Charles R. (Delores Hoffman)
  of Stoystown; four grandchildren: Mrs. Jeff (Denise) Davis, Somerset RD 2;
  John R. (Mandy Fyock), Deborah and Donald, all of Stoystown; and two
  great-grandsons, Jonathan and Jeremy Deaner.  She was formerly associated
  with the Deaner Funeral Home prior to her ailment.  She was a member of St.
  Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown.  She was a former L.P.N. and
  charter president of the Somerset L.P.N. Association.  A member of Forbes
  Road Chapter, DAR; Order of Eastern Star, and charter secretary of Chapter
  13, AARP; all of Somerset.  She taught school for several years in
  Stonycreek Township.  Family received friends Wednesday evening and will
  receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev.
  Wayne D. Sauter, officiating.  Interment, Oddfellow Cemetery, Stoystown.
  Arrangements in charge of Richard E. Hauger, Somerset.  If friends desire,
  memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society.
