  DeARMITT
  
  Don Brickley DeArmitt, 76, Stoystown RD 3, died July 18, 1994, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 5, 1918, in Kimmelton, son of George and Naomi
  (Berkebile) DeArmitt.  Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Melvin and
  Benjamin, sisters: Beatrice and Evelyn.  Survived by loving wife of nearly
  44 years, the former Mary Mahler; son, Don A., M.D., married to the former
  Susan Berger, and grandsons: Matthew and Evan, all of Harrisburg; also
  survived by sisters: Marjorie, wife of Wilmer Brant, Fla.; Myrtle Carmany,
  and Katherine, wife of George Swartzwelder, both of Central City; Mary
  Jane, wife of Floyd Brant, and Faye, wife of Patrick Ibinson, both of
  Somerset; brother, Rodger, married to the former Arlene Shaffer, Somerset;
  also numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church,
  Stoystown, where he had served on the council.  He was an avid hunter. 
  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 9:30 a.m. until
  service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, with the
  Rev. Walter L. Startzel officiating.  Interment, Lambertsville Cemetery.
