  Sydney Ellen Deas, 91, Siemon Lakeview Manor Estates, died Oct. 11, 1984,
  at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 13, 1893, in Somerset, daughter
  of Frank and Minnie (Hay) Pritts.  Preceded in death by husband, James
  Sutherland Deas; two brothers, John H. and Norman H. and sisters, Cora
  Schrock, Anna Lint, Carlott Braucher.  Survived by two brother-in-laws and
  number of nieces and nephews.  Member of St. Paul's United Church of
  Christ, charted member of Trinity Chapter O.E.S, life member of Soroptimist
  International.  Served on board of Ankney Square Cemetery and actively
  involved with Soroptimist Ladies Loungs from 1955-1979.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. William
  Mulford officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Family suggests
  contributions be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
