Decker, 76, of Confluence RD 3, died March 6, 1995, at Garrett, son of the late Allen C. and Cora (Bockes) Decker. Survived by his wife, the former Betty Higgs; a daughter, Carol A. Brant of Meyersdale; a son, Terry A. Decker of Richlands, N.C.; three stepchildren: Gary Hartman of Gaithersburg, Md.; Debra Stempora, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Michael Hartman of Confluence; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by five brothers: Blaine of Ravenna, Ohio; Bruce of Akron, Ohio; Paul of Meyersdale, Harold and Melvin, both of Garrett; two sisters: Wilma Boyer and Pauline Baer, both of Meyersdale. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Geneva Brocht, and brothers, Ken, Clarence, Harry and Elwood. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Retired from Penn-Pocohantas Coal Co. A member of Meyersdale Moose Lodge 76, Confluence VFW Post 7250 and UMWA Local 1875, United Methodist Church of Confluence and a life member of the Brooklyn Hunting Camp of Garrett. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. John H.
