  ELWOOD C. DECKER
  
  Elwood C. Decker, 62, Garrett RD 1, died Nov. 18, 1987, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born April 9, 1925, in Summit Township, son of the
  late Allen C. and Cora (Bockes) Decker.  Also preceded in death by three
  brothers, Kenneth, Harry and Clarence.  Survived by wife, the former
  Roberta Jean Yutzy; and these children: Ricky E., Berlin; Mrs. Rosemarie
  Mowry, Garrett RD 1; and Mrs. Ruth Elaine Shaffer, Rockwood; and seven
  grandchildren: Gregory Allan Shaffer, Rachel Lynn Mowry, Lisa Marie Mowry,
  Gary Richard Mowry Jr., Matthew Paul Shaffer, Jennifer Lee Decker and Derek
  Jordan Decker.  A brother of: Paul and Melvin, both of Garrett RD 1; Allen,
  Confluence; Blaine, Ravenna, Ohio; Harold, Garrett; Bruce, Akron, Ohio;
  Mrs. Wilma Boyer and Mrs. Pauline Baer, both of Meyersdale RD 4.  Member of
  Garrett United Methodist Church, UMWA, former member of the Teamsters,
  former owner and operator of Decker's Market, Garrett.  Friends will be
  received 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale.  Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the
  Garrett United Methodist Church where the body will lie in state from 1
  p.m. until time of service, the Rev. James L. Fish Jr. officiating. 
  Interment, Center Church Cemetery.
