Decker, 89, Meyersdale, died peacefully with her loving family by her side July 12, 2008, at Meadow View Nursing Center in Berlin. Born Nov. 20, 1918, a daughter of the late Adam and Alice (Albright) Johnson. Also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Decker, to whom she was married for 47 years; brothers, William, Earl and Lester; and sisters, Pauline Johnson and Thelma Martz. Survived by four children: Wilbur Decker and his wife, Joanna, Lakewood, Ohio; Margaret, wife of Roy Vena, Meyersdale; Dan Decker and his wife, Kaye, Meyersdale; and Betty, wife of Joseph Drake, Meyersdale. Also 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Also numerous nieces and nephews. A sister of Mable Schrock, Berlin. A member of the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church. A former employee of the Pennsylvania Bra Factory in Meyersdale, where she was a supervisor for many years. She retired from Snyder Potato Chip Factory of Berlin. Luella was well known for her many beautiful quilts. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church. The Rev. Randy Haulk officiating. Interment at Center Church Cemetery, (Summit Township) Garrett. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale.
