  Melvin L. Decker, 79, Garrett, died Nov. 17, 2006, at Golden Living Center,
  Meyersdale. Born May 21, 1927, in Garrett, a son of the late Allen and Cora
  (Bockes) Decker Sr. Preceded in death by daughter Alice L. Decker; these
  brothers, Ken, Clarence, Paul, Harry, Allen, Blaine, Bruce and sister Pauline
  Baer. Survived by his wife Charlotte (Whorrell) Decker; two daughters, Nancy,
  wife of Joseph Bittinger and Theresa, wife of Terry Bottner, both of
  Meyersdale; grandchildren, Keith, Shawna, Allison, Amber and Joey;
  great-grand-children, Jozie and Nevaeh. Also survived by sister, Wilma Boyer,
  Meyersdale; and brother, Harold Decker, Garrett. Friends will be received from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the
  funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment, Center Church
  Cemetery, Garrett.

   Melvin L. Decker, 79 of Garrett, died November 17, 2006 in Golden Living
  Center Meyersdale.   He was born May 21, 1927 in Garrett a son of the late
  Allen and Cora (Bockes) Decker Sr.  He was preceded in death by a daughter 
  Alice L. Decker.  \par \tab He is survived by his wife Charlotte (Whorrell)
  Decker; two daughters - Nancy, wife of Joseph Bittinger; and Teresa, wife of
  Terry Bittner; both of Meyersdale; grandchildren, Keith, Shawna, Allison, Amber
  and Joey, great-grandchildren, Jozie and Nevaeh. He also is survived by his
  sister Wilma Boyer of Meyersdale and brother Harold Decker of Garrett.  He was
  preceded in death by these brothers Ken, Clarence, Paul Harry, Elwood, Allen,
  Blaine, Bruce, and sister Pauline Baer.  Friends were received Saturday 2 to 4
  p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home where the Funeral
  Service was held Monday 2 p.m. Interment Center Church Cemetery Garrett, PA.
