  PRESTON D. DECKER
  
  Preston D. Decker, 63, of Garrett RD 1, died Dec. 2, 1988, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born April 14, 1925 in Garrett, son of the late
  William and Edna (Christner) Decker.  Also preceded in death by two
  brothers, Jeff and William, and a sister, Ethel Brown.  Survived by: his
  wife, the former Shirley Hostetler, and a son, Larry D., both of Garrett RD
  1; also two grandchildren, Andrea and Penny.  Brother of: Robert W.,
  Garrett; Millard, Vanicia; and Mrs. Ruth Concini, Orlando, Fla.  Veteran of
  U.S. Army, W.W. II.  Member of Garrett Volunteer Fire Department, Laurel
  Falls Association, and V.F.W. Post 3504.  Friends will be received 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. MOnday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will
  be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Charles L. Lady officating. 
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
