  STEPHEN J. DEDIK
  
    Stephen J. Dedik, 75, of Quemahoning St., Boswell, died June 4, 2001 at
  Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.  Born Oct. 27, 1925 in Boswell, son
  of George and Elizabeth Miller-Dedik.  Preceded in death by parents and
  sister Theresa Blucas.  Survived by wife of almost 53 years, former Gloria
  P. Farris; children, Michelene D. Good, of Cape Coral, Fla., Kathleen M.,
  married to Roy E. Lisbon of Jennerstown, Stephen P., at home, Paul A.,
  married to the former Nancy L. June, of Stoystown, and Joseph C., married
  to the former Lauren P. Pratt of Farmington; grandchildren, Hollie,
  Heather, Melanie, Michael, Jennifer, Paul Jr. and Adam, and
  great-grandchildren Emily, Amanda, Matthew, Alexcia and Jacob.  Brother of
  George, married to the former Marion Metz, Agnes Dedik and Walter, all of
  Boswell; Verna Sendek, of Jerome, Virginia "Tootie" and Robert, married to
  the former Barbara Jarosick of Boswell.  A graduate of the former Boswell
  High School, merchant Marine, veteran of World War II, having served in the
  Asian Pacific and Mediterranean theatres of operation.  Retired employee of
  Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown Works with 38 years of service.  Member of All
  Saints Catholic Parish and the Boswell Post No. 461 American Legion.  He
  was also an avid outdoorsman.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell where vigil for
  deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Funeral mass 10 a.m. Thursday
  at All Saints Church, Boswell.  Rev. Father Martin Breski, OFM Conv.
  celebrant.  Committal St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Graveside military rites by
  Menoher Post 155 VFW.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
  sent to the American Cancer Society, 168 West Union Street, Somerset, Pa.
