  CHARLES WALTER DEEM
  
  Charles Walter Deem, 75, Akron, Ohio, died Aug. 6, 1986, at Akron City
  Hospital.  Born March 10, 1911, in Grantsville, Md., son of late Joseph A.
  and Clara (Coleflesh) Deem.  Survived by wife, former Laverne Pratt; sons,
  Charles P., St. Louis, Mo.; and Thomas J., Magadore, Ohio; seven
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Brother of: Clyde, and Wilbur,
  both of Berlin RD3; Robert, Phelps, N.Y.; Mrs. Leland (Mary) Walker, Berlin
  RD 3; and Mrs. Forest (Jean) Romesburg, Meyersdale.  Retired truck driver
  for Consolidated Freightways.  Member of Retired Teamsters, Local 24. 
  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Kuhlman
  Funeral Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Ralph
  E. Mills officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
