  MARY ELIZABETH DEEM
  
    Mary Elizabeth Deem, 75, Somerset, formerly of Berlin, died April 7,
  1995, at Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin.  Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Philson,
  daughter of Cyrus and Mable (Shoemaker) Sturtz.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Clyde W. in March 1990; and brother, Daniel Sturtz. 
  Survived by these sons: Dale; married to the former Carol Beggs, Somerset;
  Roger, married to the former Pam Boyce, Meyersdale RD 4; Joseph, married to
  the former Penny Suder, Berlin RD 3; and grandchildren, April, Seth, Adam
  and Lindsey.  Sister of John, Wilbert and Raymond, all of Stoystown RD 3;
  William, Frederick, Md.; Cyrus, Bedford; Cletus, Hooversville RD 1; Julia
  Bridges, Rootstown, Ohio; and Blanche Peterman, Friedens RD 1.  Member of
  Berlin Brethren Church.  Family received friends Sunday evening and will
  receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Bryan G.
  Karchner.  Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to Berlin Brethren Church or Somerset "In Touch" Hospice,
  Somerset, Pa., 15501
