  EARL L. DEETER
  
    Earl L. Deeter, 64, of Berlin RD 3, (MacDonaldton) died Jan. 1, 1981, at
  home.
    He was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Berlin, a son of Milton and Martha
  (Saylor) Deeter.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers
  and his first wife, the former Romaine Mowery.  He is survived by his wife,
  the former Margaret Flickinger and these children, Rodger L., married to the
  former Joyce Smith of Glencoe; Ronald E., married to the former Virginia
  Lane, Meyersdale RD 4; and Barry E., married to the former Mary Donaldson
  of Berlin; and a step-son Karl Brick, married to the former Marcalene
  Hartman, Berlin RD 3; and seven grandchildren.  He was a brother of Mrs.
  Merle (Eleanora) Snyder of Friedens; Mrs. Henry (Lois) Mackey, Dallastown,
  John of Lowellville, Ohio; Mrs. Bruce (Martha) Brown, Hagerstown, Md.;
  George of Stoystown; Charles, Somerset; Mrs. Frank (Ethel) Kapacka, New
  Stanton; Robert, Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Glenn (Fay) St. Clair, and Mrs. Robert
  (Ruth) Crissey, both of Somerset.  He was a bulldozer operator for
  Scurfield Coal Co., a member of the Sinnamahoning Sportsmens Association;
  Mountain Field and Stream Sportsmens Association of Berlin, Mountain Cry
  Coon Hunters Association; and the Paradise Valley Sportsmens Association. 
  He was also a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  services were held with the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson officiating. 
  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
