ELLEN DEETER

  Mrs. Ellen Deeter, aged 81, died last Friday at the home of her son, S. W. 
Deeter of Riverside, Johnstown R.D. 4.  She had been in ill health for many 
months.  She was the widow of John O. Deeter and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Samuel Poorbaugh, both deceased.  Surviving are these children: S. E. Deeter, 
Johnstown; Charles I. Deeter, Fairhope; J. Allen Deeter, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. 
Effie Miller, Akron, O.; Mrs. Lillie Scheller, Berlin; Milton H. Deeter, Berlin 
R.D.; S. W. Deeter, Riverside, and Mrs. Dewey Manges, Cuyahoga Falls, O.  The 
remains were removed Saturday evening to the Scheller home in Berlin, where 
funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. D. S. 
Stephan, D.D., pastor of Trinity Reformed Church, Berlin.  Interment was in the 
I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin, under the direction of J. N. Johnson & Son.
