  George W. Deeter Sr., 83, Somerset, died March 6, 2006, at home. Born Dec. 28,
  1922, in Schellsburg, a son of Milton and Martha (Saylor) Deeter. Preceded in
  death by parents; wife, the former Mary Lou Pelliccione; sisters, Elnora
  Snyder, Ethel Mae Copacca and Lois Mackey; brothers Earl, Milton Jr., James and
  John. Survived by children, George Jr., married to the former Brenda Byrge,
  Helper, Utah; Harry, married to the former LeeAnn Bowers, Stoystown; Pam
  Bryner, Somerset; Patricia, married to Owen Brad Kinsinger, Listie; and Diane
  Deeter, Somerset. Brother of Martha Brown, Greencastle; Robert, North Carolina;
  Charles, Somerset; Helen Fay St. Clair, Somerset; and Ruth Martin, Somerset.
  Also 11 grandchildren. George was a World War II Army veteran. He was retired
  from Green Garden Inc., Somerset. He was a member of Laurel Hill Gospel
  Tabernacle and the Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Family will receive friends 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be
  held 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gary Anderson officiating. Interment at Mount
  Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to
  Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, 7415 Somerset Pike, Boswell, PA 15531.
