    Harold E. Deeter Jr., 60, of Fairhope died March 13, 2003, at 
  Conemaugh Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 27, 1942 in Fairhope, 
  he is the son of Gladys (Robb) Deeter of Somerset and the late Harold 
  Deeter Sr.  He was also predeceased by a brother.  Surviving in addition 
  to his mother is his wife of 39 years, the former Barbara Markle, 
  daughters, Christine D. Gillingham and fianc‚ Allen Beeman, Friedens, 
  and Tammy Lynn, married to William Ellis, Temple, GA.; grandchildren, 
  Nathan and Justin Gillingham; Howard and Shane Pepper, and Katrina Ellis; 
  brothers, Charles, Larry, Dwight and Terry, and sisters, Lois Jean Ogline, 
  Violet Claycomb and Diane Visinsky.  He was a truck driver for Ryder 
  Trucking Co.  He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Fairhope, 
  the NRA, and enjoyed hunting.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 
  and 7 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, with a 
  service beginning at 8:30.  Rev. Homer Duppstadt and Ralph Landis 
  officiating.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Mt. Olive Lutheran 
  Church, Fairhope, Pa. 15538.
