  DEETER 
  
    Mrs. Hilda Catharine Deeter, 74, of Van Nuys, CA, formerly of Berlin, died 
  July 2, 1982 at her home.  She was born September 9, 197 in Meyersdale, a 
  daughter of the late Ernest W. and Catharine (Keidel) Braeseker.
    Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew Deeter on June 11, 1946, and 
  a son, Robert A. Jr., who died October 16, 1952 in Korea.  Also preceded in 
  death by one sister and five brothers; Miss Emma E.; Karl L., Gustav A., Ernest 
  A., William F., and Edward R., all former Brothersvalley Township residents.
    Surviving are three children: Shirley, wife of Ronald H. Walker, Torrance, 
  CA; Doris Jean, wife of Ralph F. Dainty, San Gabriel, CA; and Ronald, of Van 
  Nuys, CA; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Clara, 
  widow of Ralph N. Hay, of Berlin RD 3.
    Funeral services and interment were conducted July 5 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 
  Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
