  DEETER, Karl Ronald "Ron"  02/10/08   Daily American
  
    Karl Ronald "Ron" Deeter, died peacefully Jan. 18, 2008, after a long illness. Born
  Feb. 1, 1933, in Somerset, the son of Robert A. and Hilda Catherine (Broeseker) Deeter.
  He is survived by his sister, Doris Deeter Dainty, San Gabriel, Calif.; many loving
  nieces, nephews and friends; and by his very special friend, Pamela Lee. Ron was a 1950
  graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, and worked for many years at Snyder Potato
  Chip Factory prior to moving west in 1963. Ron retired in 1991 from a 25-year career with
  the Bank of America in Van Nuys, Calif. Our brother, uncle and friend will be lovingly
  remembered through his gifts of poetry and music, and for his love of God. Private
  service was held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, Calif. Memorials may be made to the
  American Lung Association.
