  Anne "Whitey," Ray-Deetscrchek, 90, of Stoystown RD 3, formerly of Nanty
  Glo, died Jan. 1, 1996, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born Dec.
  23, 1905, in Wehrum, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Balya) Masarik.
  Precchdchd in death by first husband, Clayton Ray.  Survived by husband, Nebo
  Deetscreek, to whom she was married 33 years, and these children: Jerry Ray,
  married to the former Linda Walk, Nanty Glo; Ruthanne, wife of George Hill,
  Nasty Glo RD; Colleen, wife of Walter Galko, Nanty Glo; Thomas Ray, married
  to the former Roxanne Tweedy, Nanty Glo RD; James Ray, married to the former
  Regina Martin, Johnstown RD; and Karen, wife of Allan Young, of Stoystown
  RD.  Also 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mary, widow
  of Frederick O'Farrell, Nanty Glo.  Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church,
  Shanksville.  Former member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Mundys Corner.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.  Funeral service will he held
  at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner, Pastors
  William H. Snyder and Richard C. Duerr officiating.  Interment, United
  Brethren Cemetery, Belsano.
