  DEFFENBAUGH
  
    Patricia R. Deffenbaugh, 67, of Culligan Road, Friedens, went home to be with 
  the Lord on Nov. 20, 1998, at Conemaugh Memorial Center, Johnstown.  Born April 
  15, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Charles and Rue Nunamaker.  
  Preceded in death by a son, David.  Survived by husband of 49 years, the Rev. 
  Gerald Deffenbaugh, and these children; Gerald W., married to Nancy of Conway, 
  S. C.; Larry, married to Karen Mitchell of Dunkirk, Md., Mrs. Wayne C. (Marie) 
  Erbe of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Roger (Shelby) McCoy of Friedens.  Also 14 
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Member of the Geiger Church of the 
  Brethren where she taught Sunday school for 50 years.  She enjoyed writing 
  children's stories and was a great lover of nature.  Friends will be received 
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Miller Funeral 
  Home, Somerset.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
  Geiger Church of the Brethren, where family will receive friends one hour prior 
  to the service.  Rev. Ronald Beachley officiating.  Interment, Maple Springs 
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Geiger Church of the 
  Brethren Building Fund., 185 Culligan Road, Friedens, 15541.
