  Rosella R. Deffenbaugh, 92, Church of the Brethren Home, formerly of Johnstown
  RD 2, died Jan. 17, 2005, at UPMC Lee Regional. Born March 27, 1912, in
  Johnstown, a daughter of Jacob M. and Lucy Laura (Fender) Thomas. Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, G. Edward; son, Harry J., and brothers and sisters,
  Pearl Myers, Melvin, Hazel Havener and Raymond. Survived by children, Dolly
  Hoffman, Taylor, Mich.; the Rev. Gerald E., married to former Dorothy Miller,
  Friedens; Dorothy, married to Cloyd Goughnour, Johnstown; and Donald, Wittmann,
  Ariz.; daughters-in-law, Regina and Ethelene Thomas; 14 grandchildren; 35
  great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Sister of R.
  Woodrow, South Fork; Sheldon, Johnstown, and F. Dean, Florida. Lifelong member
  of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at
  the John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown. The Rev.
  Michael Christine officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Memorial
  contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at the Locust Grove Church of
  the Brethren.
