Frazee and son were called to Addison last week by the death of Mrs. Frazee's mother, Mrs. Wm. G. DeHaven, who died at her home in Addison on February 25. She was aged 71 years, 8 months and 1 day, having been born June 24, 1858. She had been in delicate health for four years and was confined to her bed for two weeks before her death. She is survived by her husband and three children, Mrs. George F. Frazee, Confluence; Bert DeHaven, Chicago, and Miss Eva DeHaven, at home. Another son, Joseph H. DeHaven died four years ago. The latter was a veteran of the World War, having done service over seas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two sisters and four brothers. Mrs. DeHaven was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and of the Pythian Sisters. She was a sincere Christian, a devoted wife and mother, a good and kind neighbor. Besides her immediate family, she is mourned by a large circle of friends who will long remember her kindness of heart and sterling characteristics. The funeral took place at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 27. Rev. J. L. Duff, her pastor, officiated. The services at the grave were conducted by the Pythian Sisters.
