  DEIST
    
    Charles H. Deist, 80, Meyersdale RD 4, died Feb. 2, 1978, in Meyersdale 
  Community Hospital.  He was born Dec. 25, 1987, in Northampton Township, the 
  son of the late Charles and Minnie (Kraushaver) Deist.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Pearl M. Poorbaugh in 1972, 
  and two sons.
    He is survived by these children: Mrs. Thomas (Helen) Gilkes, Largo, Fla.; 
  Mrs. Paul (Virginia) Holsbury, Tallmadge, Ohio; Leo C. and James E., both of 
  Lakemore, Ohio; William P., Bethel Park; Robert R., Munroe Falls, Ohio; Dwayne 
  R., at home; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    He was a brother of: William, Glencoe; Robert, Bedford; Albert and Mrs. Mary 
  Folk, both of Springs; Mrs. Florence Poorbaugh, Corriganville, Md.; Mrs. Ella 
  Schrader, Frostburg, Md.
    Services were held Sunday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home with the Rev. 
  William Moser officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
