FRANK W. DEIST

  Frank W. Deist, 69, of Meyersdale R.D. 2 died at 2:30 o'clock, Sunday 
afternoon, Dec. 10, at his home following an illness of three months.  A son of 
William and Dora (Yaner) Deist, he was born in Northampton Twp., on March 14, 
1874.  His wife died 14 months ago.  Surviving are five children - Mrs. Bessie 
Pritts and Margaret Deist, both at home; Mrs. John Augustine, Meyersdale; 
Walter, Waynesburg, O., and Louis, Meyersdale.  Also surviving are 10 
grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Main 
Street Brethren Church by Rev. Kenneth Ashman, pastor.  Following services the 
remains were removed to the Konhaus Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Union 
Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician, as soon as 
accessible.
