    William L. Deist, 64, of Boswell RD 2, died Jan. 19, 1996, at home.  Born
  Aug. 11, 1931, in Jerome, a son of John and Frances (Janisky)Deist.
  Preceded in death by parents and sister, Dorothy.  Survived by good friend,
  Alda Mae Bisel, two daughters: Barbara and Belinda, and several
  grandchildren.  Brother of George, Sipesville; Sara Gary, Boswell RD 1;
  Helen Lucas Gray; John and Robert, Johnstown; Glenn, New Cumberland, and
  Margaret Hayes, Farmington W.Va.  Veteran of the Korean War.  Member of the
  Lutheran Church, V.F.W Post Somerset, D.A.V., American Lefion, Polish
  Falcons, Jenner Rod and Gun Club.  No receiving of friends or visitation.
  Burial at the convenience of the family in the Berlin-Odd Fellows Cemetery.
