Deitle, Jr., 66, of Hooversville, died Nov. 3, 2001 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born Jan. 26, 1935 in Meyersdale, son of James E. Sr. and Lulu (Brant) Deitle. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert, Glenn and Ray, and a sister Helen. Survived by his wife the former Janet Fetzer; sons, Richard of Johnstown and Edward, married to the former Susan Arendas, Geistown; step-daughters, Adriane (Rivera) married to Michael Revak, and Heather (Rivera), married to Bryan Brougher, both of Boswell; grandchildren, Jason, Stacey and Kristy Deitle; step-grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Revak and Brennan Brougher. Brother of Roy of South Fork, and Rev. Kenneth, Lavonia, Ga. Also survived by numerous nieces an dnephews. He was an army veteran of the Korean War, serving with the 101st Airborne Division, Ranger Battalion. Retired from Conemaugh Blacklick Railroad, former driver for Flood City Limousine, and was a self employed carpet installer. He loved hunting and fishing, having made several trips to Utah and Canada. He also loved spending time with his dog "Willie Byte." He was a member of Hooversville VFW and Windber Moose Lodge. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Clifford Ott and Rev. Kenneth Deitle officiating. Following cremation private interment in P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
